U.S. Presidents 7-12 because they are not as well known.
i think 7-12 since i don’t know much about them
I don’t know much about any of them so as an Aussie I think this would be interesting for my kids to learn about other countries and their leaders as I don’t know too many myself it would be great for me too.
Probaby George Washington.
George Washington because my fathers side is descendant from him. It would be fun to teach my kids not only history but part of my families history.
Teddy Roosevelt because he has always fascinated me.
We don’t know as much about JQ Adams, so he would be my pick.
I think I’d choose the quotations from 1-6. So much to learn from these men.
I would like to have set 1-6. We have an adopted child from China who is soooo very interested in the the U.S. Presidents. This would be a great resource.
JQ Adams. WE know the least about him.
I honestly never learned much about presidents in school,so I am eager to learn more and teach my kiddo more than what I was taught!
Van Buren
I think I would enjoy Franklin Roosevelt the most. My father-in-law is from Maine and tells many stories about about the family spending summers at Campobello Island (Canadian Island) right at the coast of Maine. From his childhood home he could see Campobello
I would love set 1-6 to start at the beginning and work through chronologically.
I misread, sorry. I would like to know more about Madison. He kind of gets overshadowed by the previous! 🙂
I would love set 1-6 to start at the beginning and work through chronologically.
Ronald Reagan always fascinates me
I’d choose 7-12 because I know a little bit about the first 6 but hardly anything about the next 6.
We’d like to win U.S. Presidents 7-12. According to a book I have, Martin Van Buren was the first president born an American citizen. I’d like to learn more about that fact and the presidents’ lives who came before him, too. Thanks, Babette mbverbsky@embarqmail.com
Thomas Jefferson has always been interesting to me.
Presidents 1-6 because my children want to go to Mt. Vernon – they think that requires us moving to VA! They are 7 and 5 and most of their historical context comes in the form of “was that when George Washington was alive?”
I guess the 7 through 12 since I already bought the 1 through 6 today!
Abe Lincoln. I can’t imagine his bravery to rock the boat with the Emancipation Proclamation in the 1800s.
Presidents 1-6. We love Williamsburg, Mount Vernon, and Monticello.
Probably Washington…to teach the foundations !!
Zachary Taylor, mostly because after dying so shortly in office, the history books are always a bit light on who he was and what he did.
I think I’d like to learn more about Thomas Jefferson right now. We’ve just finished reading about how the Declaration of Independence came about and how changes to it came about before it was accepted in history. Also, how he wanted to get rid of slavery although he owned slaves til the day he died. He seems like quite an interesting man and invented so many things while building his home.
John Quincy Adams
I’ve heard some interesting quotes from Van Buren lately and I’d love to learn more about him.
JFK
I would like to learn more about Reagan because he was the first president that I was able to vote for.
I am interested in learning more about Polk because I don’t know a lot about him.
i would choose John Adams. I know more about his son than him. It would be interesting to find out how much he influenced his son.
7-12. Quite a few characters there!
How to pick just one?? Maybe JQ Adams because I’m not real sure I actually knew we had more than one President Adams. Eek!
I would like 1-6, especially Washington. It would be best to start at the beginning for our kids.
We are learning about the Civil War so my kids would be thrilled to learn more about Lincoln!
My son really wants to study the Revolutionary War timeframe…I think I would want to study more about Thomas Jefferson…he played such a vital role in the founding of our great Nation.
I agree with 7-12. There is so much more information on the first 6 but would love to learn more about these leaders.
1-6 because we are starting at the beginning.
Lincoln because I live in SC and there’s been so much referring back to his time lately.
7-12 because the middle presidents sometimes get lost.
U.S. Presidents 7-12
We would love the 1st collection – we are working on US history this year, so it will fit right in.
I would say Jackson or Van Buren. You don’t hear much about Van Buren.
Forgot my email. pkgbest @ gmail.com
That is a hard question to answer but possibly Jackson. I can’t say I really know anything about him but I don’t know much about any of them. Have you ever seen the clip from Ellen about the little girl who loved the presidents? It’s super cute.
Definitely Madison. I want my children to understand all of the research that was done by him going into building our Constitution. Such an important time period for Americans and important for us to understand with all the challenges being brought against this document over the last few years.
