I am a person that has about 65 things that I would like to get done before the kids wake up. Now, I will admit that with teenagers, this is much easier than it was with little ones, because they teens will gladly keep sleeping for a long, long time. 😉 Sadly, I do have to wake them up so they can start the day and we can get our schoolwork done, so it is inevitable that I can’t get my entire wish list done during my morning hours.
I also find it challenging to figure out how to prioritize what to do during the morning hours. Do I base it on energy levels? mental clarity? being organized? Eating the Frog*? Do a bunch of short tasks first so I can cross a lot of stuff off the list? This sort of thing makes me really look forward to our little facebook group to support each other as we work through the Make Over Your Mornings course*. I readily admit that I do NOT have this figured out, and I am hoping that some of you do. lol (and if you don’t, well, come on and join us so we can figure it out together!)

Can I just say that I love Crystal Paine? This gal rocks. Although she is incredibly productive, organized, and successful in her life, she is also very gracious and balanced in presenting this course to us. She is always so kind and careful to point out that we all are at different seasons of life, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to applying these principles. If you have little ones or extenuating circumstances that have held you back from taking this course because you thought that you would just feel discouraged, I want to encourage you to reconsider. I think that the advice in Make Over Your Mornings can work for just about anybody, even if you can’t do every bit of it now.
There are several great recommended resources, tips for making a manageable To Do list (mine are always gigantic and unrealistic!), and I love what the class workbook includes for this class day.
Would you like to Make Over Your Mornings*, too? Now is a perfect time to invest some effort and get this area of your life moving smoothly before the new school year begins! You can enroll in the course here, and then come join my private facebook group for class members here. We will start discussing the class and helping each other along on Monday, July 13!

Right now you can get The Green Ember for FREE on Kindle*! If you have not heard of it yet, I am surprised because this series is getting extremely popular! I am seeing that tons of homeschool families are loving this book and the sequel that just came out recently, and one of my sons is reading this book during our quiet reading time each day and he is loving it! You can’t beat free–get it now even if your kids are little. You can save it for later. (Although the adults seem to be loving it too! I plan to read this in the coming school year.)

I’m SO excited about today’s topic, because it goes along perfectly with our small support group that I’ve set up on facebook: accountability!
When do I walk the longest? When I’m with my friend Kim.
When do I do best at not eating sugar? When I ask my family to remind me not to, and not to tempt me.
When do I tend to follow through on goals completely? When I know that it HAS to get done because somebody else is depending on me.
Yup. I think accountability is a strong asset for all of us, and I think our little group may provide that for some of you that might not feel like you have that sort of support available in other ways. Why not enroll in the Make Over Your Mornings course*, and then come join us in the private Facebook group for other women that are working through the course?
