my daughter is passionate about science
my husband loves astronomy so a class to teach my son would help them share that interest
My kids would love this. They enjoy going out and looking at the stars and learning but my knowledge is limited on this subject so this would be a great help.
My kids love astronomy and would love this course.
Wow, I can’t see my children turning this down. We live in the city, they rarely see stars, but I know they stare into the night looking for them. It will open their world to learn more about the heavens they can not see.
My kids won’t admit to being interested in Astronomy because they think I might make them learn about it. But I just know at least my son, and very likely my daughter too, would really enjoy it if they could just get over that initial hesitation (to learn anything, anytime).
My kids (and I) would enjoy everything about this astronomy class. We are astronomy geeks which is why we chose astronomy for our first year of homeschool.
My kids would love being in the Experience Astronomy class because they are very curious about astronomy and are always asking me questions.
One of my sons is really interested in Astronomy. He would love this!

my son just soaks up this sort of knowledge he loves it so much, the boys even have arguments about it, I stay out of them as they know way more than I do and this would just add more to their discussions.
My daughter (8) would absolutely love to take this class because she loves astronomy and even put in a special request to learn more about it this year (along with baking lol)
My son was so upset when we had the last new moon (the best night to star gaze) because we had a monsoon storm that night so he couldn’t stay up and star gaze before going to bed (or falling asleep on the trampoline)…he would LOVE to learn to identify the constellations and other things that are “out there.”
My girls love star gazing and learning all about gods creations
we are going to do astronomy over the summer. this would help us.
Astronomy is our favorite “nature study is science” area. We live rurally and are amazed on those really clear nights how many stars there are. They seem to multiply as you watch. My middle school girls are ready to turn this interest into a bigger focus of study.

We bought a telescope over the weekend. For my husband and kids, this is the summer of the sky!
We use our telescope every month and visit the high power scopes at UCF about every quarter. I think this would really help my girls understand even more about our wonderful skies.
My daughter worked through an Astronomy unit study recently which sparked an intense curiosity about the planets and the stars. She just got a telescope for Christmas so it would be great to use it during the course if we won. She’s intrigued with world and has a strong desire to research and learn more about it. My daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, has always been fascinated with astronomy. We moved to Hawaii about 10 years ago and live out in the country. On clear nights the heavens are spectacular. My daughter will get out a mat to lay on and look at the stars for a few hours trying to figure out the constellations with her books. I would love for her to be able to take this astronomy course.
My kids love the planets and love looking for the one constellation they know, The Big Dipper.
We would love this! We were hoping to study the solar system this year! My daughter has loved all things astronomy since she decided to use her birthday money on a pink (cheap) telescope when she was 5. She is still fascinated by it at 8 & her younger brother would love it too!
We just recently went to the planetarium on the local university’s campus (which also happens to be my alma mater) and now the kids are obsessed with all things space & stars!
Oh wow! I am excited about this one!!! I have several students who would love to learn more about astronomy and this method of teaching would be perfect for them.

My kids and I love to lay on our trampoline and talk about what we see and how the heavens declare the glory of GOD. Their grandpa has a telescope and astronomy is common bond for them,
I was a baby when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon but my dad held me up to the tv so I could watch it. To this day, something about astronomy and the space program just touches me in a unique way. I would LOVE to win this for myself!
My kiddos are fascinated by outer space, and we’re partway through building a telescope for each of them! I’m mostly picking and choosing pieces of curriculum for them though, and would love a solid class!
We are taking Astronomy this year with my 16 and 13 year old and this would be a great asset
I recently bought a telescope and I think this would be great to help me teach our son how to use it hopefully! I’m just not very science orientated! I flunked science in high school believe it or not although I have earned my bachelor’s degree in social work!

Our kids all know the planets in the solar system but have not learned the constellations yet. This is the next step! It looks like a fun program.
This is one of my favorite things for my husband to do with our girls. We just saw the star of Bethlehem and the girls were amazed.
I think this would make science more enjoyable for my daughter who just tolerates science.

My kids don’t act like they are too interested in astronomy but I have a feeling that once they start to learn a little more then their interest will develop. They did enjoy the blood moon a while back.
