Math Mammoth is a mastery-oriented program that offers both a full curriculum as well as supplemental materials for elementary and middle school grades. This curriculum focuses strongly on conceptual understanding, and uses lots of visual models and exercises. Mental math and number sense are emphasized.
Math Mammoth is nearly self-teaching for many children, since the full explanations of the concepts are included in the student books. PLUS there are free videos that coordinate with the lessons! This is a big time-saver (and sanity saver!) for parents.
